Mini Mansions glow under neon in video for 'Midnight In Tokyo'

A few weeks ago, those who rolled up early to the Arctic Monkeys’ show at TD Garden were treated to an opening set by Mini Mansions. Today, the Los Angeles trio have unveiled a video for a song inspired by another band playing TD Garden this Sunday, Gorillaz. The track is called “Midnight In Tokyo”, taken from Mini Mansions’ late-September EP Works Every Time, and the very pretty-on-the-eyes video, directed by Will Goodan, can be viewed below. “For a song birthed out of a life changing trip to Japan, it seemed only fitting to go back to the scene of the crime,” says Mini Mansions’ Michael Shuman. “This video was shot in one night out in Tokyo.” Of the song itself, the band says: “Inspired by true romances and real heartbreaks, this song came to life after an existential trip to Tokyo. This track is no deep cut, but it’s content sure does cut deep. This is the second installment in the new Mini Mansions wave to come.” Get into it and all its modern-pop tastiness below.
