We’re still trying to figure out when Alex Edelman actually takes a breather. However, it’s not looking like “tonight” will be the answer, as the powerhouse comedian makes a short trip back home tonight to get ready for his next thing.
While a Tuesday night comedy show might be a little unorthodox, the Brookline native has never been to really by the traditional comedy rules, as we will once again see tonight (October 13) as he sets up for a quick hang back home at The Comedy Studio. The running name of the gig, Alex Edelman secretly prepares for a show in New York, leaves little to the imagination, but that’s okay given the fact that Edelman just simply never misses when sharing even his work-in-progress creativity with us, as most recently seen in his smash-hit special Just For Us.
Sure, you’ll have the chance to catch him at TD Garden in a few weeks when he returns to the Comics Come Home lineup, but there’s just something magical about watching Edelman craft his next thing, piece by piece, in real time. So, tumble down the stairs to the underworld if you were quick enough to get tickets, and watch how it’s done by one of the true gems of modern comedy.
