Here’s where to get free stuff this weekend at Boston Calling

Let’s face it: Any given person at Boston Calling this weekend shelled out at least $100 to be at the festival, and the cost of fest’ing just keeps racking up from there. Festival food, and especially festival booze, isn’t cheap, and for most people, there’s not a lot of wiggle room in the budget.

But hey — you didn’t come to Boston Calling to spend money, you came to rock out.

That being said, while there’s no free avocado toast being handed out this year, there are still plenty of freebies to be had.

You just need to know where to look. Vanyaland got you.

We’ve combed the fest from the Green Stage to the Delta Blue Stage and everywhere in between, and found the best spots to score some free samples to stay hydrated and entertained — on the cheap — all weekend long.

Free Tastings at Barefoot Wine

Barefoot Wine is pouring out samples of their pinot noir, pinot grigio, sangria, moscato, and champagne at certain times throughout the weekend. Tastings start at 2 p.m. tomorrow, so make sure to roll up with your 21-plus bracelet on your wrist for an afternoon refresher. Bonus: Their bar doubles a viewing roof.
