Mother nature has a nice sense of humor. While Boston slugs through an endless winter, those few glimmers of spring we all felt earlier in the week have been quickly washed away by consecutive gray days of rain and cold. That could end tonight, however, as Matt And Kim roll into town for a gig at The House of Blues armed with all the “Daylight,” warmth, and positivity we need to finally embrace springtime. Last week the Brooklyn indie-pop duo released a new single and lyric video for “Glad I Tried,” which features Santigold, Kevin Ray of Walk the Moon, and Night Riots’ Travis Hawley, and it serves as the latest track off their forthcoming album Almost Everyday. That hits May 4 via Fader Label, and the whole thing should be on grand, colorful display tonight in sad, rainy Boston. Featured photo by Caleb Kuhl.
