The man born Joshua Michael Tillman has announced his new album, and it's called God's Favorite Customer. The follow-up to last year's Pure Comedy, this new Father John Misty record features 10 songs and hits June 1 via Sub Pop Records here in the states and on Bella Union in Europe/United Kingdom.
To celebrate all this, Father John Misty wants you to get a proper feel for the new LP by releasing three of the album's songs all at once. Listen to "Just Dumb Enough to Try", "Disappointing Diamonds Are the Rarest of Them All", and "Mr. Tillman" below.
Other song titles include "Hangout at the Gallows," "We're Only People (And There's Not Much Anyone Can Do About That)," and our personal favorite, "Please Don't Die." That last one could be about so many interesting things.
