“Having grown up with Bon Jovi being part of our collective musical vocabulary, we are overjoyed to have been selected to open for them in Boston!” says Sidewalk Driver guitarist/vocalist Kate Murdoch. “To play with a band that has had such an influence on rock music over the years — and that continues to pack in adoring crowds today — is a thrill and an honor.”
Sidewalk Driver will be among 28 local bands to open for Bon Jovi on their North American tour. It’s the third straight tour Bon Jovi has extended this kind of offer, following 2006’s Have A Nice Day Tour and 2010’s The Circle Tour.
