Original Misfits announce New Jersey show with Suicidal Tendencies and Murphy’s Law

The OG Misfits are headed back to where it all began: New Jersey.

Glenn Danzig and Jerry Only are bringing the “Original Misfits” to their home state, playing Newark’s Prudential Center on May 19. Suicidal Tendencies and Murphy’s Law are opening.

Oddly, the flyer below makes no mention of guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, who was a part of the horror-punk icons’ previous reunion shows last month in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. But we’re told he will be a part of this gig.

UPDATE: The Misfits’ Facebook page confirmed Doyle’s involvement. Former Slayer and current Dead Cross drummer Dave Lombardo is expected to round out the lineup, notes Loudwire.

Last week, a Misfits show in the Garden State was teased by Live Nation, which posted an image of the band’s Crimson Ghost in the shape of New Jersey. Now we have confirmation.
