Toronto punk band METZ are currently touring North America, ripping dicks off at every stop along the way. A few nights ago it was The Sinclair’s turn, and New York gets the treatment this Thursday night (October 5) when the musically-ferocious-but-very-friendly-as-people trio play Bowery Ballroom.
The run is all to show off relentless new record Strange Peace, which dropped late last month on Sub Pop. We’ve long held the opinion that METZ are one of the absolute best live bands currently on the touring circuit, but their recorded records are no joke either, and today the dudes unveiled a short-ish documentary video that takes a behind-the-scenes look at the new LP’s recording process at Electrical Audio in Chicago.
