Studio 52 is a community artist space located in the heart of Allston, and is proud to support the Boston music scene and local artist community.

Roger Waters’ ongoing Us + Them tour has drawn both praise and controversy as it treks across North America with a politically-charged anti-Trump message. Along the way, the former Pink Floyd legend has invited youth groups in each city to take the stage during “Another Brick In The Wall, Part II.”

While the stunt ruffled some feathers a few days ago in Cleveland, last night in Boston, youth organization ZUMIX filled in admirably at TD Garden, lining the stage with “RESIST” shirts and providing a choreographed protest against our current political climate.

Roughly a dozen participants from ZUMIX, between the ages of 8 and 15, took part in the routine, and you can watch video from the performance below.

“Roger and his team couldn’t have been kinder and treated our youth like absolute professionals,” says ZUMIX Director of Operations Jenny Shulman. “It was a great experience all-around. ZUMIX is so grateful to have opportunities like this to be able to show the power of youth and to make their voice heard.”
