Later this year Charli XCX and Halsey set out on a North American arena tour, and our local date is an October 6 stop at TD Garden. Over the weekend at Lollapalooza, the pair of pop singers gave us a little taste of the tour’s exciting possibilities, teaming up to cover Spice Girls’ ’90s anthem “Wannabe.”
The moment happened yesterday (August 6) during Charli’s set, and we can feel the girl power all the way from Chicago. The guest appearance of Halsey no doubt surprised fans, as the “Now Or Never” singer wasn’t on this year’s Lolla lineup.
Things are in full swing for Charli XCX of late, as she recently dropped a video for new single “Boys”, which will appear on her new album. The clip features guest appearances by Joe Jonas, Diplo, Jack Antonoff, D.R.A.M., Carl Barat, and dozens of others.
