Devil’s Listing: Danzig’s infamous Los Angeles house is up for sale on Zillow

We already know How The Gods Kill. Now we’ll find out how the gods sell.

It appears that Glenn Danzig’s infamous Los Angeles house is up for sale on Zillow. The four-bedroom, two-bath, 1,544-square-foot Los Feliz home has an asking price of $1.2 million.

“This 1907 Craftsman home is awaiting your imagination and creative talents,” reads the Zillow description. “In the rear of the property is a 2 bd.+1ba. additional unit. Many original accents are still intact. Two story home with hardwood floors, leaded glass, and storage units. This is a property that should be returned to its glorious past. Property is to be sold ‘as is'”.

The listing, for 4544 Franklin Ave., doesn’t mention Danzig by name, but it does say that it was last sold in August 1989 for $275,002. There’s word Danzig has moved away from the property in recent years, buying this house once owned by Lucille Ball, but fans have been quick to identify the Los Feliz house as once belonging to the Misfits singer; it was in the news a few years back after Danzig was involved in this bizarre story involving a pile of bricks in the front of the property.

The Zillow listing has only been live for a day or so, and has already generated nearly 40,000 views.

Danzig, meanwhile, will be performing his album How The Gods Kill in its entirety this year at Riot Fest in Chicago, and plays the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on September 7.
