Oh Hai, Mark: Our first look at James Franco in ‘The Disaster Artist’ is here

If there’s anything more ironically painful than watching Tommy Wiseau’s cult-classic mega-flop hit The Room, it’s watching James Franco try to reenact Wiseau’s infamous “I did not hit her / Oh hai, Mark” rooftop scene.

And that’s just what the film snobs of the internet got this morning, as the teaser for the forthcoming flick The Disaster Artist dropped, showing Franco miming Wiseau’s mystery accent and dubiousness with conviction. The movie, which is scheduled to debut in December, offers a look at how one of the worst movies of all time was tossed together — all blunders included.

Here we go:

We’re really looking forward to seeing how Franco opts to portray the subsequent “You are tearing me apart, Lisa!” dialogue.

Seth Rogan and Dave Franco also make cameos in the teaser as inordinately patient members of the film crew. Rogan even tweeted out the film’s poster earlier today.
