Not All Gyros Wear Carts: The Halal Guys make Boston moves, opening in Theatre District

After teasing fans of Middle Eastern chow with an announcement of a Boston location opening this summer, The Halal Guys have announced that their first Massachusetts store will open this July in the Theater District.

The company announced the official address yesterday via their brand-new social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram) for the Boston locale.

Tucked inside the CityPlace building at 137 Stuart St., the new Boston location will be the first of six, with more eateries to pop up in the Financial District, Porter Square, Back Bay, Downtown Crossing, and the West End.

That’s a metric fuckton of spicy hummus.

The company, which started as a food cart in 1990, will be claiming Boston as one of its final American frontiers; they’ve already championed Washington, D.C., Chicago, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and their native New York City.

Ironically, both Canada and South Korea nabbed locations before Boston did, but we’re just glad beef gyros and baba ganouj are within reach again.

We all just need to enjoy the simple things in life. Like combo platters for example. #TheHalalGuys #WeAreDifferent
