Get Unchained: Katy Perry announces new album ‘Witness’ and North American tour

Can we get a Witness? Katy Perry can.

On Monday morning the pop star detailed her new album, titled Witness, and it’s out June 9 via Capitol.

The follow-up to 2013’s Prism features two previously released singles, Migos collab “Bon Appétit” and “Chained to the Rhythm” with Skip Marley, and will be supported by a 42-date North American tour.

Dubbed “Witness: The Tour,” the run starts September 9 in Montreal and wraps February 5 in Vancouver. A few dates in, Perry plays Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut September 21 and TD Garden in Boston September 29. A pre-sale starts Thursday (May 18), and tickets go on sale to the general public a week from today (Monday, May 22).
