Hello Again: Watch Adele open the 2017 GRAMMYs with a powerful vocal performance

Beyoncé may be nominated for a leading nine GRAMMYS awards, but tonight already belongs to Adele. The singer, who has 12 career GRAMMYs to her name, opened this year’s party at the Staples Center in Los Angeles with a familiar and appropriate tune — “Hello.”

Hey hey “Hello” right back at’cha.

The British singer is up for five awards this evening, including a trio of big-ticket items: Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. She’s already taken home Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, so theoretically, she can open and close this year’s party with ease.
