Free Laughs In Costly Times: ImprovBoston opens doors to service men and women on Veterans Day

ImprovBoston is set to honor the sacrifice of our nation’s servicepeople by offering an entire night of free laughs on Veterans Day (Friday, November 11). Veterans, along with up to three guests, are invited to the nonprofit comedy arts organization’s slate of incredibly entertaining shows.

“We are honored to provide a night of well-deserved laughter to our veterans,” says ImprovBoston Artistic Director Mike Descoteaux. “We are grateful for their service, making our comedic freedom of speech possible.”

Veterans Days shows at ImprovBoston include the hilarious, fast-paced interactive ImprovBoston Mainstage at 8 p.m., which offers audiences the chance to participate in games, scenes, storytelling and music, and Super Gay Comedy Fun Time at 10 p.m., offering a mix of standup, sketch comedy, storytelling and improv featuring the best LGBTQ acts and more.

Additional — and equally as entertaining — shows being offered on Veterans Day include Studio 40, CageMatch, and Lilith Fair: The Show, and Nightcap. Free tickets may be reserved online in advance or purchased at the door.
