The classic-era lineup of Guns N’ Roses have been on the road for a few weeks now, and pretty much everyone in attendance has captured craptastic video on their smart phones. So it’s pretty cool to see some hi-def video emerge from last night’s show at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. The clip, which you can watch below and on YouTube, is made all the more better since it’s of Use Your Illusion deep cut “Coma”, a nearly-10-minute epic that’s become a true fan favorite over the years.
Also last night, according to Ultimate Classic Rock, Guns N’ Roses performed Chinese Democracy cut “Sorry” for the first time on their current Not In This Lifetime tour. So it was a real banner night all around in Philly.
If the band’s set lists remain constant, and we have no reason to think they won’t, fans in New England will be treated to “Coma” (and its ruthlessly spectacular closing minutes) next week when Guns N’ Roses play two dates at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. The first night, July 19, is sold out, but tickets remain for the second date, on July 20.
