Mosley, who was replaced by Mike Patton in Faith No More back in 1988 but appeared on the Bay Area band’s first two albums (1985’s We Care A Lot and 1987’s Introduce Yourself), will hit the road later this month for a string of acoustic gigs. His tour is called Reintroduce Yourself, and the closest it comes to Boston is a July 24 date at Koto in Salem.
“When you’re young and touring around, even the second or third time, you’re thinking about how much you drank last night and what girl was cute all that kinda crap,” Moseley says in a presser, via Team Rock. “And you’re looking out the window, but you’re not seeing… I guess the one thing about being older is that I will be taking it in a lot more.”
Mosley attributes his lack of North American touring to how far apart our cities are. We think.
“I haven’t been out there in a long time and I can’t wait,” he says. “No offense to America, it’s not the fans, or the kids, it’s just the distances between shows.”
Despite having left Faith No More 28 years ago, Mosley joined the band on stage for the first spate of their reunion gigs in 2010. Check out all Mosley’s North American dates below via Bands In Town, with some New England show info on the posted flyer.
