Attention world: A new song from the Stone Roses will arrive just after supper on the East Coast.
A second single from the Manchester legends is expected to break into London’s heaven around midnight. The track is called “Beautiful Thing” and it comes not too long after last month’s “All For One”, the group’s first new recorded material in 21 years.
This follow up is certainly speedy, given the Roses’ track record for second comings.
Details from the Quietus: “The track which was recorded at London’s Church Studios by Paul Epworth will be available via iTunes, Spotify and the band’s own online store. There will also be a video released via YouTube.”
The Stone Roses, meanwhile, play Madison Square Garden in New York City on June 30.
