All Nighters: Bowery announces Boston Calling afterparties with the Vaccines and Charles Bradley

A fun bonus to the recent Boston Calling Music Festivals going down twice a year at City Hall Plaza have been the affiliated after-parties across the river at the Sinclair in Cambridge. Recent years have brought the likes of Questlove and White Denim (2014) and Speedy Ortiz and Stephen Malkmus (2015) to the Harvard Square rock club, and this year Bowery Boston will be bringing two festival performers over for some additional action.

On Friday, May 27, British guitar-rock bruisers the Vaccines will play the Sinclair on the eve of their festival gig, and on Sunday, May 29, soul dynamo Charles Bradley and His Extraordinaires will cap off the weekend with a club set a few hours after their own Boston Calling appearance.

Tickets to both shows go on sale this Friday at noon via Bowery Boston and Ticketmaster. The Vaccines show is $20, while Bradley’s performance, which includes an opening set from San Francisco band Heron Oblivion, is $30.

UPDATE: Saturday’s Digitalism show with French Horn Rebellion has been declared a Boston Calling afterparty as well. Full deets in the Sinclair’s ‘gram below.

The May 2016 edition of Boston Calling is headlined by Sia (Friday), Robyn (Saturday), and Disclosure (Sunday). The full lineup is below.
