We’ve spent the past few weeks promoting tonight’s CMJ party with Berklee College of Music, but we’ve done it knowing full well most of you aren’t actually going to attend. That’s not to say the party won’t be great — with this lineup, it certainly will be — but we’re aware not everyone will be in New York tonight for CMJ. We’re based in Boston, we get it.
So we’ve decided to bring the party to you.
Tune in to VanyaRadio after 8 p.m. as we broadcast all seven performances straight from Carroll Place in Greenwich Village. Hear the pulsating electro-pop of mar | co and LILI N, the space-aged rock and roll of Eternals, Toy Cities and Oh, Malo, the the prog-rock weirdness of You Bred Raptors?, and the progressive folk of Honeysuckle.
It’s the next best thing to being there.

Boston & Beyond is Berklee College of Music’s official CMJ Music Marathon showcase, going down Friday, October 16 at Carroll Place (157 Bleecker St., NYC). The party featured seven Berklee-affiliated bands and artists and is free to badge holders and open to the general public. Doors are at 8 p.m. and the show is presented by Berklee College of Music, Heavy Rotation Records (HRR), the Red Room at Cafe 939, and Vanyaland.
