Photo Gallery: Rising alt-pop singer Halsey lights up TD Garden last night in Boston

Editor’s Note: Last night Imagine Dragons and Metric played TD Garden in Boston, and that’s all well and nice. But our attention was centered on the opening act, Halsey, the 20-year-old electro-pop singer from New Jersey who was one of the most-tweeted-about artists of SXSW back in March. Two of Halsey’s alt-pop songs, “Hurricane” and “Ghost,” have been in constant rotation on VanyaRadio for the past several months, and we’re eagerly awaiting the August release of new debut LP, Badlands. In the meantime, Matthew Shelter was at the Garden last night to provide some sights to her engaging sounds.
