Thump and Purr: Listen to the Chemical Brothers team up with St. Vincent on the pulsating ‘Under Neon Lights’


Late last week Cara Delevingne told the media “I’m in love with St. Vincent!” and pretty much everyone was like “Duh, us too.” That everyone includes the Chemical Brothers, who today released another new track that features Annie Clark on vocals, and the hallucinogenic post-disco burner sounds way better than that alarm clock noise that woke you up a few minutes ago.

The track is called “Under Neon Lights,” and it’s the latest offering from the Chemical Brothers’ upcoming eighth studio album, Born In The Echoes, which is available tomorrow with pre-orders of the album. The record hits digital and physical shelves July 17 via Virgin.

“We’re always looking to work with likeminded people who do something a bit different to us,” says Chemical Brother Tom Rowlands. “Annie is an amazing artist who was very up for experimenting.”

This weekend, the Chemical Brothers are set to headline the Other Stage at UK music festival Glastonbury, and will return to North America later this year. Listen to “Under Neon Lights” below…
