This week has seen the lineup announcements from two big fish in the summer festival game, California’s Coachella Music & Arts Festival and New York’s Governors Ball. Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music Festival has gotten into the game as well, and will announce their lineup on Tuesday, January 13.
And here’s the hook — the fans are announcing it themselves.
People are urged to call 1-844-ROO-2015 on Tuesday between 6 and 9 p.m. Eastern time. The caller will then get a band that they can announce themselves via social media. By day’s end, we should have all 125 participating bands and artists, both flooring our social media and on the Bonnaroo home page.
