Here’s Keytar Bear playing the tracks nominated for Song Of The Year in the 2014 Boston Music Awards

Ok so check it, we’re still pretty hungover at the Revere Hotel after last night’s Boston Music Awards. While we slowly pull our shit together and admire the lovely view of the John Hancock Tower and a tiny part of the Pru, we’re going to pass along this clip of Keytar Bear performing all five tracks nominated for Song of the Year.

Boston’s favorite Bear busted out the medley last night via pre-recorded video courtesy of Sleepover Shows, before Lake Street Dive’s “Bad Self Portraits” took home the gold. The mini-“set” did finally answer the age-old question of “What would Skaters’ ‘Miss Teen Massachusetts’ sound like on the keytar?”

And we smell a John Powhida collaboration coming soon, too. Full list of Song of the Year noms after the Bear bounce…

2014 BMAs SONG OF THE YEAR
Air Traffic Controller, “The House”
Dutch ReBelle “Yen”
John Powhida International Airport “Cover Me I’m Going for Milk”
