Just Announced: Electronic pop future star Vérité to kick off our V:Music Series next month

One of our favorite new artists of 2014 has been New York singer-songwriter Vérité, who has been refreshing the quickly-changing pop game with a series of infectious singles. We’ve had “Strange Enough,” “Weekend,” and most recently, “Echo” placed directly in heavy rotation on VanyaRadio, and now we are beyond excited to welcome the future superstar to Boston.

Vérité kicks off our new V:Music series on November 21, when she performs at T.T. The Bear’s Place in Cambridge with homegrown electro-pop duo Pale Hands. Tickets are on sale now and are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

The show arrives not long after the October 20 release of her Echo EP and a string of high-profile New York shows for CMJ, including a BMI showcase at the Knitting Factory (October 21), a New Shapes Showcase at Santos Party House (October 23) and a party at Glasslands with Kate Boy.

The buzz is already building.

“New York singer-songwriter Vérité has only released a handful of songs in her young career, but those entrancing indie-pop tracks have made quite an impression, with praise coming from Buzzfeed, Neon Gold, Pigeons & Planes and more,” wrote Billboard late last month when it premiered new track “Echo,” adding: “With heavy production from Elliot Jacobson offsetting Vérité’s delicate voice, ‘Echo’ positions the singer as an artist capable of delivering a sweeping hook while emphasizing the subtler details of her arrangements.”

Get to know Vérité via her first three singles below. Expect great things.
