I Like A Man In Unicorn: Watch this mini-doc on Drab’s new EP before their show this weekend

Mini-documentaries are all the rage these days, and for good reason. Whether they are about the insane 1989 Hershel Walker trade or a Massachusetts indie rock trio’s quest to make a rad-as-fook EP, they often give us a personal glimpse inside some much larger machinations at play.

We’ll assume you already know everything there is about the Minnesota Vikings ill-fated acquisition of the All-Pro running back. So let’s turn our attention to lo-fi post-grunge band Drab, who connect sweet guitar-pop melodies and rugged hookage as easy as they trace their lineage from Boston to Northampton and then again back down the Mass Pike.

With their new EP Unicorn set to be officially unveiled Sunday at an Allston Pudding presents show with Soft Pyramids and Babydriver at O’Brien’s Pub, bassist Sophia Cacciola shot and produced this fast-action look into the recording sessions.

And no draft picks were harmed in the making of this video. Preview it below EP below, and save a few minutes of your day to get to know Drab a little better.
