Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant dropped a new solo record last month, Lullaby and… The Ceaseless Roar, and clearly the man is too busy to be personally hiring the next great music video filmmaker. “‘Rainbow is a profoundly beautiful song, and easily conjured images and inspiration,” says Lucien Spelman. “It is a wonderful honor to be chosen by a true music legend.

Meanwhile, Plant is currently wrapping up a few stateside dates with his new backing band, the Sensational Space Shifters — including Thursday night at the 850-capacity Brooklyn Bowl — before heading to the United Kingdom for a solo tour in November. We’ll keep you posted if he returns to the US and if there is a Boston date.
