Boston Calling’s Saturday slate was a tale of two side. Before the rains came, S.Carey, Sky Ferreira, Bleachers, the Hold Steady, and Boston’s St. Nothing and CliffLight gave City Hall Plaza a true energy. Then lightning touched down and the place was evacuated, stopping the music festival dead in its tracks. The three-hour delay only served to set the stage for two grand finales from Lorde and Childish Gambino. Vanyaland’s Eddy Photograph was there to capture the scene.
