Face it, at some point in your life, you wondered what it was like to be Questlove.
We’ve all wanted to be like the drummer, writer, DJ, and producer, and sometimes, the man gives us a glimpse of the world through his eyes. Last night at Boston Calling, Quest shot some quick video while still drumming during the Roots’ set with Nas, the grand finale of the three-day music festival at City Hall Plaza.
The clip, posted below, shows the view from behind the drum kit, and naturally, Questlove didn’t miss a beat.
This is pretty cool.
A few hours later, Questlove also Instragrammed a photo from his DJ booth on stage at the Sinclair during his official afterparty. The post included the following caption: “8 gigs 72 hours! Thank you NYC, Denver, LA, Boston. Kids do NOT Try This At Home* (unless of course you have the ability to make your great grandfather, grandad and dad’s lifetime combined salery in one fell swoop–then by all means ghead)”
