Spring Into Life: TV On The Radio announce new record ‘Seeds’ via video trailer

It’s been three years since New York’s TV On The Radio released their last album, Nine Types of Light, and since then they’ve dealt with the death of bassist/producer Gerard Smith (who passed away nine days after the album’s release) and a parting of the ways with longtime record label Interscope.

This morning, TV On The Radio announced their new LP, Seeds, which will be out this fall via Harvest Records, the same label that brought us Morrissey’s recent work. Seeds was announced via a short video teaser trailer, which you can watch below; the music featured sounds fairly majestic.

No word on whether Seeds will include tracks like “Million Miles” and “Mercy,” which were released last year on Dave Sitek’s Federal Prism label.

Either way, this is already one of the most anticipated records of the year.
