Mix Maester: Hodor from ‘Games of Thrones’ is a house music DJ, will tour Australia

The actor who plays Hodor on HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones is also a DJ, it seems, and will be hitting the road for a string of dates later this summer.

The NME reports that Belfast-based actor Kristian Nairn, brother of songwriter Lily Allen, will lead a six-date DJ tour dubbed Rave of Thrones.

We shit you not.

Nairn apparently drops more beats than George R.R. Martin drops bodies. Unfortunately, however, all of the upcoming gigs are in Australia, though given the show’s massive popularity, Europe and North America can’t be far behind.

Here’s the word:

The actor who plays Hodor in Game Of Thrones is set to embark on a DJ tour.

Kristian Nairn will play six dates in Australia on a tour which is being dubbed the ‘Rave of Thrones’, reports Mixmag. The nights will boast a Game Of Thrones dress-up theme and see Irish actor Nairn playing deep house, with a visual warm-up set from Ego based on the popular fantasy show.

The tour kicks off on August 28 at The Hi-Fi in Sydney, with dates in Brisbane, Perth, Melbourne and Darwin, and the last set at Zhivago in Adelaide on September 7.
