Elizabeth & the Catapult, 3:30 p.m. set time

By the time her third album, Like It Never Happened, dropped earlier this year, it felt like Elizabeth Ziman was well-established as a tried and true veteran of the music industry. Fronting (and often rounding out) Elizabeth & the Catapult, the Brooklyn musician has been active for a decade now, getting her start touring with Patti Austin for a year-and-a-half in the early 2000s, performing with Esperanza Spalding along the way before forming Via Audio.

Fast-forward to now, and Ziman is busier than ever, makin it incredible she even had time to release a new Catapult record at all. “Over the past 8 months I’ve toured in Kishi Bashi’s band, played with the Shins and the Waterboys, made a record with my friends from Lucius, and made an EP with Richard Swift,” she reports. “I’m one lucky girl.”

We’re lucky as well, as she brings a crisp sense of songwriting acumen to our outdoor party. The air will be fresh, her music will be fresher. Check out some new tracks and some old faves (of ours, at least), below…
