Fresh off being named Best Alternative Band in last night’s People’s Choice Awards, emo diehards Fall Out Boy have announced a 34-date summer tour with Paramore. Or have Paramore announced a 34-date summer tour with Fall Out Boy? This is a bit more complicated than when Paramore took out Metric last year.
Regardless of headliner status, the Monumentour kicks off June 19 in Hartford and comes to Xfinity Center in Mansfield on June 22. The Xfinity Center is the Massachusetts venue formerly known as the Comcast Center, and before that the Tweeter Center for the Performing Arts, and originally Great Woods.
But don’t worry, the duo is coming to places off the usual tour routes, including long-standing emo hotspots Gilford, New Hampshire and Burgettstown, Pennsylvania.
