Watch Arctic Monkeys pay tribute to Lou Reed with a moving cover of ‘Walk On The Wild Side’

Musical tributes to Lou Reed have been popping up online over the past 36 hours, and now some artists are taking to the stage to pay respects to the late Velvet Underground founder and rock icon.

The Arctic Monkeys joined in on the salute earlier this evening, covering “Walk On The Wild” side at Liverpool’s Echo Arena.

It’s a pretty stunning performance. And Alex Turner does a pretty great Lou Reed.
