The Killers greatest hits comp will not be called Hot Fuss; listen to Steve Winwood-esque new track ‘Shot At The Night’

The Killers are releasing a greatest hits record, and no, it’s not called Hot Fuss.

Out November 12, Direct Hits pulls together 15 studio singles from the Las Vegas synth-rock band’s four studio albums (yes, four), including obvious choices like “Mr. Brightside” and “Somebody Told Me.” The collection also comes armed with two fancy new tracks: the Anthony Gonzalez-produced “Shot At The Night,” and “Just Another Girl,” which features Stuart Price at the helm.

We’ve been all about Price lately, as his alias, Jacques Lu Cont, recently teamed up with Alex Metric and Malin Dahlström of Niki & the Dove on the mega-jam “Safe With You.”

“Shot At The Night,” which really reminds us of Steve Winwood’s 1986 chart-topper “Higher Love,” is the first of the new tracks to surface, and is out a week before the comp, November 2. Check it out up top, then get into “Higher Love” after the Direct Hits track list.
