Yr new fave band: Listen to the latest Little Daylight track, ‘Restart’

We’ve been pretty sweet on Brooklyn trio Little Daylight ever since we snogged their summery stardust-stomp single “Glitter & Gold” a few months ago, tucking it neatly into our weekly dance sets at the pill alongside the likes of Passion Pit, Empire of the Sun, and Chvrches.

Now on the eve of the Capitol Records release of debut EP Tunnel Vision, Neon Gold is offering an exclusive stream of their latest synth-blissed track, “Restart.” It’s like a more passionate Ladytron.

“With space age synths and frontwoman Nikki Taylor effortlessly channeling Emily Haines in the winsome femme fatale role she was born to play, it’s a synth-laden timewarp that floods you with ’00s nostalgia in all the right ways,” reports Neon Gold. We agree (then again, we pretty much agree with everything NGBC says).

Little Daylight come up to Boston on September 18 to play the Sinclair in Cambridge with Vanyaland BFF Charli XCX, and …then hit the road with Bastille for a string of cross-country gigs.

Prepare… for… liftoff.

UPDATE: The band tells us they’re not doing the Sinclair show anymore; we’ll find out what’s up!
