As McDonald’s toys around with Big Mac ATMs, one Burger King in New Hampshire is taking the notion of a “fast food joint” to new highs.
According to a report in Seacoast Online, two employees at Burger King’s Epping restaurant on Route 125 were arrested after they were busted for allegedly selling weed from its drive-thru. All any customer would need to do was ask for Burger King employee Garrett “Nasty Boy” Norris and order some “extra crispy fries.” The weed would then be served in an empty coffee cup along with their Chicken Fries or Whopper Jr or whatever else would taste really fucking good in about a half hour or so.
After an investigation with the Rockingham County Drug Task Force, local police arrested Norris and assistant shift manager Meagan Dearborn. Norris and Dearborn are both under the age of 21, and both were released on $2,500 personal recognizance bail. Their arraignments are February 22 at the 10th Circuit Court in Brentwood.
In February 2016, New Hampshire’s state legislature nixed a bill that would have legalized marijuana for recreational use in the Granite State. Nine months later, Massachusetts voters approved marijuana legalization through a ballot question.
