Just in time for the holidaze, a new Nine Inch Nails record is set to arrive tomorrow, but its first track is already available to hear online. Listen to the sludgy, grinding “Burning Bright (Field On Fire)” below via the NIN YouTube channel.
Pre-orders are currently open for the new NIN EP, titled Not The Actual Events, set for December 23 release, through nin.com. It will be out digitally and on a “physical” component.
“It’s an unfriendly, fairly impenetrable record that we needed to make,” says Reznor, who revealed last week that longtime collaborator Atticus Ross is now in the band. “It’s an EP because that ended up being the proper length to tell that story.”
