He may not be sailing the seven seas anymore, but Rhys Darby has still hoisted the sails and set his coordinates for a rather “legendary” return to Boston with his latest show.
Fully equipped with a new hour of stand-up, Darby returns to The Wilbur on April 19 as part of his The Legend Returns tour. Following the conclusion of the wildly successful HBO smash hit This Flag Means Death, in which Darby scored a number of accolades from starring as Stede Bonnet, the high-energy comedian has continued to build onto his legacy with a busy schedule on both stage and screen, including appearances on Love, Death & Robots, Royal Crackers, and a smattering of other projects in addition to a number of sold-out live shows in North America, Europe, and the U.K.
Additionally, both Kevin Nealon and Kanan Gill have announced their own returns to The Wilbur, with Nealon’s legendary SNL star power, as well as the excitement of his brand new special Loose In The Crotch fueling a night at The Wilbur on August 1, while Gill makes it happen on October 4.
Down at Foxwoods, Saturday Night Live standout Marcello Hernandez continues to ride a growing wave of stardom with one night at the famed casino’s Premier Theater on May 23. The spring return to New England comes after Hernandez quickly and decisively sold out eight out of nine shows scheduled at both The Wilbur and Chevalier Theatre between February 12 and 16.
