First comes love, then comes… sweat.
Shandelle connects the sweet and sticky sides of relationships on her two-pack AMOR // SUDOR, which taps producers ProSwervez and GIBDJ to illustrate the Spanish translations for “love” and “sweat.” Released today (February 21), the seductive pairing of new tracks “is there still love?” and “closer” — plus the accompanying sped-up versions — primes fans for the Boston artist’s to-be-announced alter ego.
“Part of the reason why I titled the two-pack in Spanish is because my alter ego embraces my Dominican heritage,” Shandelle tells Vanyaland, “and it’s almost like an Easter egg in a way, as I plan to write/release more bilingual music this year! Not only this, but also I plan on having a whole project at some point this year with a similar soundscape as to what you’re hearing on the two-pack.”
