Over the years, Ari Shaffir has managed to rub some people the wrong way. Next year, he’ll surely continue to do the same when he comes back to town, but this time, he’ll be doing it from the wrong side of history.

As announced earlier this week, Shaffir will be bringing his Wrong Side of History tour to The Wilbur for two shows on February 2. Since his last visit to The Wilbur, Shaffir has continued to pop up as a guest on a multitude podcasts in addition to hosting his wildly successful podcast, Ari Shaffir’s Skeptic Tank. His most recent special, Jew, has garnered nearly six million views since it was released on YouTube in November 2022.

Making his Wilbur debut, John Early returns to the city on June 14. When he hasn’t been crushing on stages all over the country with his highly-regarded stand-up skills, the New York-based comedian has also curated quite a credit list in front of the camera that includes Netflix’s Wet Hot American Summer: First Day at Camp, The Characters, and I Think You Should Leave. Most recently, he can be seen opposite fellow comedian Kate Berlant in the Peacock original sketch series Would It Kill You To Laugh?, and is also credited as the director of Jacqueline Novak’s smash-hit Get On Your Knees.

After a few false alarms, Nicole Byer will also make her way to Boston this year, with one show at The Wilbur on November 11. In addition to her award-winning podcast Why Won’t You Date Me? and her 2020 book, #VERYFAT #VERYBRAVE: The Fat Girl’s Guide to Being #Brave and Not a Dejected, Melancholy, Down-in-the-Dumps Weeping Fat Girl in a Bikini, Byer has continued to garner award nods and other accolades as a result of her hosting role on the Emmy-nominated Netflix baking competition series Nailed It!, as well as her debut stand-up special Big Beautiful Weirdo, which is also streaming on Netflix.

Additionally, Anthony Jeselnik has added a fifth (!!) show on December 7, adding to his sold out run at The Wilbur later this year.

Tickets to these shows can be accessed via The Regulars pre-sale now, before public pre-sale can be accessed using the code VANYA starting Thursday (April 27) at 10 a.m. ET. General on-sale starts on Friday (April 21) at 10 a.m. ET, with the exception of the Byer show, which goes on sale on Friday at noon ET.
