If you’ve ever caught yourself asking “what would Alex Edelman do?” – don’t worry, you’re not alone. However, it’s the man himself who is asking the big questions ‘round these here parts this weekend.
With the dust settled on a wildly successful few years and a look to the future, the Brookline native is returning to home turf this weekend with his brand new show What Are You Going To Do?, which will introduce itself to a Boston crowd for the first time at The Wilbur on Saturday (October 18), fueled by a fresh perspective, and a truckload of new jokes and stories to boot.
The new slate of material comes as the exciting next chapter in Edelman’s career, which saw a titanic evolution in both creative approach and notoriety as a result of his award winning Off-Broadway, then On-Broadway, and ultimately smash hit HBO special Just For Us, which took the world by storm for the majority of 2023 and 2024. As well, his role in Peacock’s Office spinoff, The Paper, has garnered recognition as the show prepares for a second season following the success of its inaugural run of episodes.
