The rising English songwriter, who released new album Paint My Bedroom Black last month, heads back across the Atlantic for a white-hot 15-date spring tour that includes a May 9 twirl at Boston’s Paradise Rock Club. At the core of Humberstone’s lyrical magnetism is the ability to transpose her coming-of-age experiences with our very own, as heard on the recent “Kissing In Swimming Pools”, weaving tales of love and loss and life with a delicate balance. It’s a vibe that first caught our attention back in Summer 2020 with one of her earliest singles in “Overkill”, and along the way Humberstone continues to adeptly crystallize these seemingly fleeting moments into a emotive compass for navigating through life.
