If you’re at all familiar with his podcast, you know how Yannis Pappas can make the best of the long days. Lucky for us, he’s helping Boston usher in the long days of summer with some much needed love and laughter.
As announced earlier this week, Pappas will be making his way back to Massachusetts for a night at The Wilbur on July 8. The stop through town will mark the first time Pappas has headlined the legendary venue, but by no means is he a stranger to MA, having most recently performed at Roar! Comedy Club in Springfield. When he’s not gathering the masses at clubs and theaters all over the country, Pappas can be heard as the host of his wildly popular podcast, LongDays with Yannis Pappas. He also has two one-hour specials on YouTube, with 2022’s Mom Love following 2019’s Blowing The Light.
Irish comedy star Tommy Tiernan will also be paying a visit to The Wilbur on May 9, as he brings his latest show, Tomfoolery, to North America. In addition to his energetic approach to the stage, which he has employed to curate a large following for the better part of the past 30 years, Tiernan also lends his talents to the screen, with a starring role in the Netflix series Derry Girls, and can also be seen in the Hulu series Conversations With Friends.

Making her way to Somerville’s Crystal Ballroom on June 7, the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend star brings her latest live show, Death, Let Me Do My Special to the area, and with it a brand new batch of insightful and unfiltered material that very well could carry the same award-winning potency as her previous stand-up efforts like Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Live, which garnered rave reviews in places from New York to London.
