Tim Heidecker at The Wilbur

Two performances are better than one as the comedian and musician brings a dual-action experience to The Wilbur for a night of both unhinged hilarity and heartfelt introspection. A Tim Heidecker show is like a box chocolates, in that he probably filled all the chocolates with toothpaste because you never know his next move, and quite frankly, it’s better that way.

Wednesday, July 27 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: 7 p.m. :: Tickets are $41.50 to $101.50

Kevin Hart at TD Garden

The self-proclaimed “comedy rockstar” returns to familiar territory to take on the biggest stage in the city for another night of stories, experiences, and judging from the name of his tour, a reality check. Hart has been at the top of the game for years, but somehow it always feels like he’s just getting started with how far he can take it.

Thursday, July 28 at TD Garden, 100 Legends Way in Boston, MA :: 8 p.m. :: Tickets are $59 to $169

Orlando Baxter at Off Cabot Comedy Club

Seeing a heavy-hitting local headline a club is always a sight to see, and when it comes to Orlando Baxter, you’ll be hard-pressed to find someone as consistent and dedicated to the craft making it happen on stage.

Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30 at Off Cabot Comedy Club, 9 Wallis St. in Beverly, MA :: 7:30 p.m. (both nights) :: Tickets are $25

Neal Brennan at The Wilbur

For all intents and purposes, Neal Brennan is a bonafide comedy legend, and has consistently been involved in the work of other comedy legends. But it’s his own stage shows that have revealed just how much of a true comedic and creative genius he is, and while his latest batch of material leans heavier on the funny side, his level of introspection is virtually unmatched in the comedy game.

Sunday, July 31 at The Wilbur Theatre, 246 Tremont St. in Boston, MA :: 7 p.m. :: Tickets are $40
