Enter Mic’d Up, our ongoing weekly series that details the best live comedy shows to consider as you head out and about. Below find our rundown for this week, through Sunday (July 17).

Adam Conover at Laugh Boston

Over the course of five shows through the three-night stint, catch the longtime comic and TV personality in an intimate setting as he brings you on a whole new ride through his ever-curious and consistently firing brain.

Maria Bamford at The Wilbur

Boom goes “Lady Dynamite” as Bamford makes a long overdue return to The Wilbur. Come for the jokes, stay for the deeply layered punchlines, the multi-faceted stories, and whatever else comes out of the mind of one of comedy’s most well-respected and expertly-crafted voices.

Ben Schwartz & Friends at Chevalier Theatre

You legitimately may never know what to expect when it comes to taking in a Ben Schwartz show. Aside from a night that unfolds the further it travels down the rabbit hole of improv, Schwartz brings with him an unbeatable streak of charisma, a childlike love for the craft, and a never ending desire to put in the best performance you’ll see for awhile.
