Boston Calling 2022: Day 2 photos of Black Pumas, Orville Peck, Charlotte Sands and more

Editor’s Note: And on the second day, the rains came. But before and after a roughly 90-minute weather delay had festival goers seeking shelter from thunder and lightning, Boston Calling delivered what it does best — the art of performance, all spaced out and accessible over a nine-hour program. Saturday’s Day 2 was a wet and humid affair — and unfortunately the weather nixed sets from Ali McGuirk, Coral Moons, and Sudan Archives; with King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard out at the last-minute due to Covid — but it featured some incredible sets. Especially those from Orville Peck, Run The Jewels, Black Pumas, Charlotte Sands, Van Buren, and EARTHGANG. Emily Gardner was bouncing around capturing the action, and you can check her full gallery up top. Keep it locked to our continuous festival coverage throughout the weekend. — Michael Marotta
