Editor’s Note: With society’s gradual re-opening and our overall return to normalcy, there has been a deluge of tour announcements. Band in the USA keeps you updated on the shows you need to know about, and just who might be soon coming to town.

Korine are making up for lost time. The future icons from Philadelphia — who we’ve gushed over plenty across these digital pages — released their masterful sophomore album The Night We Raise back in September 2020, but the seemingly never-ending pandemic meant Trey Frye and Morgy Ramone could not immediately deliver their beautiful dark electronic-pop goods to the masses.

Luckily, we were treated to a handful of New England appearances late last year — including an Allston show with Small Black and headlining gigs in Providence and Cambridge — and now the duo are back on the road for another round through the eastern half of the United States. The 25-date itinerary wraps around a SXSW appearance, kicking off March 2 in Baltimore and wrapping April 2 in Rhode Island.

That closing gig is the closest Korine comes to Boston on this go-round, but it’s a good one. The Saturday night dance party at Focal, an all-inclusive art gallery and DIY collaborative space in Pawtucket, features Boston coldwave/post-punk luminaries True Faith and PVD-based italo-inspired synth-pop act Orion. Don’t sleep.
