Tame Impala announce 2020 North American tour

This year has been a good one for Tame Impala fans, as we’ve gotten a handful of new singles from the Australian psych-pop project, as well as a headlining set at this past spring’s Boston Calling. But 2020 looks to be an even bigger year for Kevin Parker and his bois, as Tame Impala have followed news of their Valentine’s Day album The Slow Rush with a full-on North American tour.

The tour kicks off May 29 in Chicago and wraps August 7 in Washington state. Along the way is a July 29 appearance at Glendale’s Gila River Arena, but rather surprisingly, there is no Massachusetts or New England date (for what it’s worth, there is no New York City date, either).

Perfume Genius is on board as the opener for this North American run.

Tickets go on-sale this Friday (December 13) at 10 a.m. local time. Check out all the shows below, and if we hear of any kind of New England date, we’ll update it here.
